Refresh

Every year I help coordinate our church's annual women's retreat. For the past few years, going away to Mt. Hermon or to an overnight weekend has been more difficult. Fees were getting too expensive and our women just don't have the luxury of going away for 2-1/2 days.
So REFRESH was born. A Morning Away for Women. Held in our Pavilion, we partake in a bountiful homemade brunch, with beautiful worship led by an all-women band, and we also get to hear an inspiring speaker. This year (our 4th Refresh), our guest speaker, Jennifer Smith, spoke on Hope: Hold Fast to Hope.
I pretty much do all the admin stuff for the event and love love working with our Women's Minster Christy I. She is such a gifted teacher, preacher and prophet. I can never ever do what she does and she, in turn, is thankful for what I do.
Our decor is themed: this time it was spring!
My good friend, Lisa who's in charge of decor, grew her own grass to make the centerpieces. Lorie, our gourmet chef, cooked up a meal fit for a king queen!
Our beautifully talented Teresa B. lead worship along with some musically talented ladies from our church.
The ladies were pampered for the morning. We usually have around 90 women that attend.
Guys from our Men's ministry stepped right up to serve and cater to our needs. They were such a blessing!
My incredible committee.. we are so blessed! I so enjoy serving with them! The work is easy when you have great partners!
