Let Us Not Forget

Today we honor all the Veterans who have or are still serving our country.

My Uncle Martin (Goo-Jeung), my cousin Cheryl's dad, served in the US Army from 1960 - 1966. He passed away at a very young age of 41 from pancreatic cancer. I was 13 years old at the time.

Emily's 8th grade class created Veteran's day sculptures out of wire to display for the occasion.
Her teacher was very impressed with her creation: Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima
Let us not forget that freedom is not without a cost. Many gave their lives for the freedoms we have here in America. May God bless them and their families.
