Oops.. my bad.. I have two entries that are out-of-order. This will bother me for days on end. That's what happens when you start posting about the past. Don't worry.. I'll get to the present .. someday!
I have to comment on the baptisms though. My Auntie is the first in that generation who accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. That is huge for my family. All my siblings, their spouses and children all are believers. But not my parents nor their siblings and spouses. My husband's parents, siblings, and most aunts, uncles and cousins all know the Lord. So my side is lagging. This was my recently widowed Auntie who's husband (my dad's younger brother) died of pancreatic cancer two years ago. She's had a tough time since then and we thank God that she has a mighty God to give her peace, hope and a future. Both my Auntie and godson gave their testimonies before they were baptized. It's interesting to compare the two. Her's was 4-1/2 minutes long detailing her 50+ years of seeking for peace and true happiness while Kyle's was under a minute detailing his walk with God pretty much since he could talk during his 13 years of life. I am always so encouraged to hear those who are older who decide to dedicate their lives to God. No one made them do it and they go through many struggles in life to finally get to this revelation. It just goes to show you that you can have Jesus in your life at any age in your life. The sooner the better though since you want to relish in His goodness for you earlier then later. Overall, the important part is that you have eternal life with Him.
